I promise I’ll get over this orchid thing. I just can’t promise when. In the meantime, I still have one plant with live flowers…
For the most part these are just stood in front of my (disturbingly dirty!) living-room window and with the lens wide open (f/1.8) so that the dirty windows don’t show.

I love my orchids. I may have mentioned this before.
Ever since I was given two plants a couple of months ago I’ve been expecting to kill them. Well, the flowers of one finally died and dropped. The dead flowers look really rather good!

Today was a lovely sunny day, bit of a mist, just a little frosty. Went up to another of my favourite haunts, Conic Hill on the east shore of Loch Lomond. The hazy mist turned the sunlight wonderfully golden a good half hour before sunset and it was a real treat to watch [...]
