Despite the distraction of bluebells I still have all my old obsessions with trees and feathers. Someday soon I’m going to have to rent a car and go get my fix of standing stones and photograph a few that I’ve not yet seen.

Wiston Lodge used to be a hunting lodge. Hence the rather splendid building and extensive gardens. It’s now a YMCA hostel. And, yes, it is fun to stay there!

Same place, same themes, different time.
The sun was out (again) this morning so I went for a cycle around the park. The bluebells are now just coming out. I love bluebells! It’s beautiful just now. In a couple of weeks when more flowers have opened it’ll be just spectacular, I’m sure.
